Standing Forms is composed from fragments of earlier drawings, reworked into a new vertical arrangement. Elements that once belonged to different compositions are isolated, enlarged, and repositioned, shifting their role from descriptive detail to independent form.

By revisiting and reusing these lines and shapes, the work explores continuity within the drawing process. What was once part of another image becomes autonomous, allowing the composition to exist between recognition and abstraction. The vertical structures create a quiet rhythm, emphasizing balance, spacing, and the relationship between form and negative space.

This edition reflects an ongoing practice of returning to previous material and allowing it to evolve into new configurations rather than remain fixed in its original context.
